Cancellation & refunds

How to cancel, what happens next, and what money does.

If you came here to leave, section 01 is the whole procedure and it is two lines long. The rest of the page is what happens afterwards. Nothing here is different from what you will be told on a call, and if something is unclear, email me and ask before you pay.

Version 2.0 Last updated 24 August 2026 $9.99 a month, founding rate

01How to cancel

Email reodannathan@gmail.com from the address you signed up with and say you are cancelling. That is the whole procedure. No notice period, no exit call, no reason required, and I will not ask you for one.

There is no self-serve billing page yet. Cancelling is something I do by hand. I action it the day I read your email and confirm in writing. When a self-serve button exists it will be in your Console, and it will do exactly what the email does and nothing more.

If you do not get a reply within two business days, send it again. A cancellation I never read is still a cancellation, and I will backdate it to the day you sent it.

02What happens when you cancel

Cancelling stops the next charge. It does not end the period you have already paid for.

Calls are unlimited while you are a member, and they stop when the membership does. There is no balance to lose — you were never counting down — but a slot you have already booked past the end of your period will not happen. Book what you want inside the time you have paid for.

Cancelling ends the founding price. $9.99 is locked for as long as the subscription runs without a break; it is not a rate attached to you personally. If you cancel and rejoin later you pay whatever the price is then, which is likely to be $29.99. That is the one thing worth thinking about before you go — the rest of this page is designed to make leaving easy, and this part is not a trap, it is just true.

03What you keep

Nothing is clawed back. A chapter I verified stays verified. It keeps the date it was passed and it stays yours — after you cancel, after you leave, permanently.

A verdict is a record of work you actually did. Withdrawing it because you stopped paying would make it a receipt rather than a record, and then it would be worth nothing.

Two things worth separating, because members mix them up:

Your record is yours to have. Ask and I will send you what is on it — your answers, your evidence, and the chapters you have verified with their dates — including after you have gone.

04Refunds

There are no refunds. Once a payment is taken, that month is paid for. Cancelling ends renewal; it does not return the period you are in.

A period that has started is not split. Cancel on day 3 or on day 27 and you keep that month in full and are simply not charged again.

I would rather put that plainly at the top than bury it under conditions. What is on the button before you pay is the whole risk: $9.99, one month, one email to end it. There is also a free thirty-minute call before you pay anything, and on that call I will tell you honestly if this is not for you.

There are refunds I start myself, and they are not exceptions you have to argue for:

Two further things this rule does not cover: a statutory right you hold where you live (section 05), and money taken in error, which was never mine to keep (section 06).

05If you are in the UK or the EU

If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom or the European Union, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract for a digital service within 14 days. A policy cannot remove that right and this one does not try to.

It can be waived, and joining waives it. Section 08 of the terms says, in plain words, that PROTOCOL begins the moment you have paid and that starting it immediately costs you the 14-day right to withdraw. The checkout carries a tick above the pay button, not pre-ticked, agreeing to those terms and linking to them. That is the trade: you get everything the moment you join, and the withdrawal window closes.

And the honest caveat. That tick agrees to the terms as a whole rather than being a box worded only about the 14 days. If you think that is too thin to have knowingly given up a statutory right, tell me inside 14 days and I will treat yours as intact. I would rather give a man his money back than argue that he agreed to something he never read.

Whichever you chose is recorded against your membership with its date, and it is shown to you in your Console under Stats. If it says nothing there, you waived nothing, and the 14 days are still yours.

Everywhere else: where the consumer law of the country you live in gives you a right that cannot be waived, that law wins over this page. I am not going to claim a blanket no-refund position that is not true everywhere, because it is not.

06A charge that should not have happened

A duplicate charge, a wrong amount, or a charge after you cancelled comes back in full, as soon as either of us spots it. That is not a refund of the service. It is money that was never owed.

Email me before you file a chargeback. If it is owed you will have it faster than a bank dispute would take. If it is not owed I will tell you plainly why, in writing, and you can still dispute it. I would rather answer you than answer your bank.

07Your account, your posts, your data

Leaving ends your access. It does not automatically erase you.

What is stored, why, and for how long is set out in full in the privacy notice.

08Coming back

Nothing is locked and nothing is staged, so there is nothing to re-earn. Email me and I will reopen the account you already had rather than start you a new one. The chapters you had verified are still verified, with the dates they were passed.

You rejoin at the price current then, and there is no queue, no placement and no penalty for having left.

09Where this stands today

Membership is live at $9.99 a month, and no lesson has been filmed yet. What is running is unlimited calls with me, the room and the weekly call. The 48 lessons arrive from January and cost a member nothing more.

That matters here because it changes what cancelling costs you. A member who leaves in October is not walking away from a library he has half-watched — he is giving up a $9.99 rate that will be $29.99 for anybody joining after the chapters land. Section 02 spells that out.

The free thirty-minute call and the waiting list are still open and still cost nothing. Neither takes a card.
